Produced in the Czech Republic by Jan Becher, Becherovka is a bitter liqueur.
Invented by Josef Vitus Becher at the end of the 18th century, this liqueur is characterized by a bitter taste and notes of cinnamon and ginger.
It is produced according to a secret recipe of which only two people know the complete list of ingredients.
Becherovka can be drunk pure and fresh, on ice or locally, with tonic water to make it the drink that the Czechs call "concrete" (Becherovka and Tonic).
