Franck Audoux, owner of the Parisian bar >Cravan<, is a cocktail archaeologist and author. His specialty: the deep interaction between artistical avant-garde and modern bar culture in Paris during the Twenties and Thirties. His research inspired him to create an aperitive with orange notes and bitter aromas.
Alexandra Schmedes, a bio-vintner in the proximity of Toledo, supplied the red wine. Gerald Schroff, a liqueur export from Berlin, provided support when developing the recipe. A true European drink was born, which is best enjoyed on ice with a shot of soda water and orange zest.
